Alisto
A marketplace for food and supplies that connects restaurants with their suppliers and streamlines the work of both.
Overview
Alisto is a supply chain platform built as a marketplace between restaurants and their suppliers. Suppliers publish their products, and restaurants browse them in one place and place orders with a supplier.
The platform is made up of four connected pieces:
- A mobile app for restaurants to browse the marketplace and place orders
- A web app for suppliers to publish and manage their products and orders
- An internal web app for the Alisto team to run the operation
- A backend powering all of it
Some of my contributions
- Led the rebuild of the mobile app, deciding with the product owner to start fresh on the latest React Native (new architecture) and a modern stack including TanStack Query and Jotai, with a clean, type-safe structure.
- Refactored large parts of the platform, replacing broken and bug-prone code with something reliable and maintainable.
- Built and maintained the CI/CD pipeline with Docker containers and AWS, and handled environments and app store releases.
- Worked across the whole platform, supporting the backend and web apps alongside mobile to keep architecture and decisions consistent.
