Fresh Market

A mobile app for a convenience store: products, shopping, and loyalty programs.

Overview

Fresh Market is the mobile shopping app for a convenience store chain. Customers browse a large catalog organized by categories, pay by card inside the app, and choose whether to pick up their order in store or have it delivered to their door. The app also includes user accounts and a loyalty program that rewards returning customers.

Some of my contributions

  • Built the app's components following atomic design, covering both UI and logic, so screens were assembled from consistent, reusable pieces.
  • Built delivery coverage based on the customer's location, checking it against delivery zones stored as map polygons to confirm whether an order could be delivered.
  • Developed backend logic with serverless functions to support the app's features.
